[Opinions] Re: Emilia and Amelia

I prefer Amelia.
I once knew somebody with the middle name Emily to honor her maternal Grandfather, Emil. It was slightly refreshing to see as a middle name. I’m yet to meet an Emilia, but I think this would be the slightly better choice to Emily.
Amelia just looks better and that’s what I’m so used to. Admittedly I used to love the name Amelia, if you had asked me a few years ago what I would name a daughter, Amelia would likely be my answer. But now it’s just kinda plain me, and I prefer Amalia more. I can still appreciate Amelia with its strong history, meaning, and the class it has, and after all at the end of the day better boring than bad. But at the end of the day the disease just bothers me. I still prefer Amelia though. Nothing special about Emilia.
