One of my friends, interestingly enough, had Lillian & Evelyn as her favorite girl names for a lot of years. She ultimately used Evelyn for her child, but picked the spelling Evalynn because she thought it was more "unique". I don't care for Evelyn but I really dislike Evalynn, it looks like it's Evil Lynn.
Lillian I don't mind too much. I had a rotten coworker named it once and it was the only adult I knew with it thus far in my life so it's slightly tainted. But overall I do like the name by virtue of the children I know with it. It has a delicate and upper class feel to it. I'm not sure if I prefer it in comparison to Liliana or not. I think I like them about the same, which is to say mildly but not enough to make any of my favorites lists. But I am pretty partial to the somewhat similar Lelia.
