I say it the same as Betty and like it more. It's pretty awesome. Too bad about the heavy association with Davis, but w/e, it's not like gen whatever will recall her very much. I don't like Bette pronounced "bet," though. It's like ... a diminutive of "B." Like Vette or Lette. Rather see Beth pronounced Bet.
