[Opinions] Re: Is Jerry an "old man" name?
YesMy primary and strongest association (by far) is Tom and Jerry. It's still going, but how strong it is is up to interpretation. It had that theatrical movie not long ago and they've been churning out cheap direct-to-DVD movies for years. Unfortunately, the property is a shadow of it's former self due to it's base nature and how times have changed. Still, the originals are classics for a reason and they live up extremely well if one is into slapstick - you're just not allowed to make the same thing today (not to mention the comedic timing isn't nearly as good). I think if you were to ask, most people would heavily associate the name with said mouse and while I don't think it's a bad thing, it's still something people like to consider---"one particular boogie will move mirror massaging with stirring crepe mixture, positioning loaves while in the furnace then toting items in containers" ~ best Russian daing sites (guest, 198.144.149.xxx) (2020)Formally PrincessZ and Princess Magpie
