Elinor Julia Scout flows so much better. Elinor Scout Julia has no flow at all.I like the nicknames Ellie, Nell & Nellie for Elinor. Elinor is a nice name. I like Julia and Scout as well.

I really like Julia and Elinor is okay. I like the Eleanor spelling better and Ellie is a cute nickname
I’m sorry but I don’t care for Scout. To me it’s a book character and only a book character. I’d go with Julia Elinor.

I really like it!

I think it's awful. Scout is obnoxious, and the combo lacks rhythm. Elinor Julia Scout flows better, but I still find Scout hideous. I quite like Elinor, though. Elinor Julia Finch?

Finch is cute!

I love Elinor, and Julia is my name so I sort of have to like it. Scout sticks out like a sore thumb, although I love the literary reference. Jean Louise would be a bit long if you still wanted to use Julia, but maybe Elinor Harper Julia or Elinor Julia Harper would work?My favorite nickname for Elinor is Nell, it's a bit more interesting than Ellie.

Nelle is Harper Lee's first name. It's her grandmother's name, Ellen spelled backward. So the nickname Nelle for Elinor could be considered a nod to Scout.

Ooh, I like Elinor Harper Julia / Elinor Julia Harper actually. Thanks!*

If it was me, I'd use Elinor Jean Louise. Or Elinor Julia Louise, but I dislike Julia, so I'd probably stay with Elinor Jean Louise. I've known quite few Elinor and Eleanor people, and they've all gone by the full name and not had a nn at all.

I only like Julia

The only one that isn't plug-ugly to me is Julia, an I still don't really like it.
Elinor is an unattractive spelling of what to me will always be a frumpy, dowdy old-lady name.
Scout, however, is just awful. It sounds like someone's hunting dog.
Naming a little girl Scout is about like naming a kid Champ or Munchkin or Buster; Scout Finch had a perfectly good name, two of them, actually, yet her father's boyish nickname for her is the one people think makes a good full name.
