I know a tiny, fiery elderly Irishwoman named Dymphna, she's capable of being scary but sweet or beyond terrifying, I love that for her. That said, the name itself is clunky, difficult for anyone unfamiliar with Irish spelling to say, dated and just gives me a very elderly vibe. Yes, the meaning's cute, but meaning is only a part of a name's charm.
