[Opinions] Esca
Back in June I brought up the name Cotia from Rosemary Sutcliffes book Eagle of the Ninth. Another character from the book who also like Cotia is from the Bregante tribe is a young man called Esca. WDYT?

It sounds quite cool, but it reminds me too much of Escargot (cooked snails)

I quite like it. I've come across Esker, and Esker a lot recently, and I like the sound. I do think in the real world it would be seen as too feminine, especially sounding so close to Esther. But in theory, it's very pleasant.

It means “bait” in Italian and I can’t get past that.
