My grandmothers are Gail and Wynona, so they would be terribly mismatched, lol! (The middle names, Patricia and Rose, go slightly better.)
My grandfathers, however, were Richard and Donald, which do match - so much that my paternal grandfather actually had an older brother named Donald! (I wouldn't use Donald, though; I'm much more of a Donovan fan.) Their middle names were Frank and Charles, which sort of go, but aren't names I would ever use.
If I were allowed to be creative with the names... the sets would be Abigail & Rosalie, and Richard & Donovan.
