I think it’s pretty. I went to school with a couple of Mexican girls who were both named Maria. One was Maria Pilar and the other Maria Isabel. Both girls went by their middle names and I always thought Pilar was a lovely name.

For some weird reason this name always made me think of pasta.

Lovely name! Pilar is very, very popular in my country, and one of the most used Marian titles, along with Carmen, Dolores and Esperanza.

I like it. It's my trainer's name but she prefers to go by 'Pili'

Stunning. While I don’t love it as much as I used to, I still really like it. Probably within the top 5 names that have been on my PNL the longest.
