Which one do you choose, and why?

Kelsey! I went to high school with a Chelsea, and... idk, she just gave me kind of a "meh" vibe. So, Kelsey it is!
Chelsea. To me it has a really fun retro seafoam-and-peach soul. "Chels" is cute.
Kelsey seems cooler. Easier to say, and brighter. Less dated imo (less popular). Chelsea feels to me like it's trying a little, to evoke something - like Tiffany, Brittany, Courtney, Harper - while Kelsey is just a trendy name that doesn't apologize for being one. Like Kelly or Avery.
Chelsea seems more "could be unisex!!" but not really, hardly anyone really ever wanted to name boys it. Kelsey seems more actually unisex - started as a guy name - but with feminine appeal when it's on a gal, like Lindsay or Taylor could have.
Chelsea is like a bomber jacket in one of those "baroque" colorful prints with gold chains; Kelsey is like a light-wash denim jacket with appliques.
But I like Chelsea alright. Not knocking it.

Chelsea, sounds lovely and a pretty name
Kelsey
Here Chelsea is part of London and a football club, no thank you!
I would shorten Kelsey to Kelly or Kel.
