[Surname] Re: What means the surname Donaldovich?
That's a very interesting surname. -ovich is definitely eastern european, but "donald" is exclusively english. Since -ovich commonly means "son of-" I imagine a guy named Donald invented the surname to use for his children. I'm guessing he married into a eastern european family, and his children took his first name as a surname, as custom. That's a really cool cultural crossover.
