[Opinions] Sidney
Sidney
on a boy?
on a girl?
What do you think?
I think I prefer Sidney for both because even though I like the city Sydney looks a bit odd with the Y in there.

Only Sidney, and only male.
I feel like I've been taught to view Sidney as a boy's name and Sydney as a girl's name. Anyway, I like it. It gives me the same vibe as Cecil, quaint and old-fashioned.
I have trouble pronouncing it so I generally don't like it but do prefer it on a girl when it is in use.
Welcome back! :)
Thanks, sorry I bashed on your name! I had a speech impediment as a kid and most words I can pronounce still in the present this one just stands as one of the small handful I can't say so I avoid it ha. It usually comes out as Cindy when I make the attempt.

Don't like for either, but I prefer the spelling Sydney for a girl
