I was surprised to see how much Margot has recently boomed along with Margot Robbie's fame. This one hadn't been on my radar screen for some reason.

I feel like Margot hits a lot of the right trends - it's old-fashioned in a usable way (Clara, Florence, Ada, Cora); it's French but accessible (Genevieve), it has that spunky sound with the O ending (Cleo, Juno). I've definitely seen it mentioned a lot more on name boards lately.
The first time I heard Margo again was a character in Gone Girl. I feel like after I, and the whole world, read that book, I started to see the name mentioned again in that retro-chic way.
