[Opinions] Grover?
WDYT?
Does it remind you too much of the Sesame Street character?

It’s better than Elmo
Too Sesame Street for me.
I met one a few years ago. He would be a teen now. His sister named Zoe. Before I could even think about it he told me that yes, both names were from Sesame Street. It didn't even occur to be but apparently everyone else noticed it. It's quite tied to Sesame Street, and unlike Oscar I can't see it making a comeback.
I would never use this name, but it is so cute and it makes me happy.
Sesame Street and President Grover Cleveland.
Definite sesame street

I love Grover! It's so friendly.
I think of a grove before I think of the puppet.

I used to think of the Sesame Street character until I met someone named Grover. He’s in his late 20s or early 30s. Now I don’t really associated it with Sesame Street too much. I think it’s usable.
I love it. Grover is super cute and doesn't really bring to mind the muppets.
No, I think of the president before the Muppet.
It's a cool name. I like it.

Weirdly, I do too, it makes no sense.
I like Grover.
I like Grover.
I didn't watch much "Sesame Street" growing up, but I did have a book about all the US presidents. So, when I hear Grover I think, "big president with a 'stache who had mouth cancer and married his foster daughter-ward-whatever in the White House".
Hello, it is I ...
Lovable furry old Grover!
Yeah, it reminds me far too much of the Muppet. I happen to adore the Muppet (especially the old skits where he was a waiter who constantly tormented the grouchy customer) but it's so tied to the Muppet, unlike, say, Oscar, that it's not usable except maybe for a pet.

I've never heard of it before, but I like it. Reminds me a bit of Wilder, almost an occupation name but not as common. I can see it working on any age.
I think it's super cute. My brain associates it as more of a cat name than a person name, but I like it.
