Yes Blaze seems silly. However I once knew a Blaise who was handsome and funny so for me that name has a positive aura.

I actually prefer Blaze to Blaise. I think the name is pretty cool. I would never use it myself, though. Better than Blazer I guess.

Nah, I have to pass on this one, it's awful. It sounds like a child that would end up on Supernanny. Blaise is more decent, but I wouldn't use it either

I had a cousin who used this name for a variety of pets: she had a pony named Blaze, then a dog, a chicken, a cat, a rabbit, and finally a deer. And now, as an adult, a new pony named Blaze Jr. So this names is very much in the vein of Rover and Fifi for me, in the strictly for pets category.

I think it's kind of comical, tbh. I prefer Blake by a far mile to Blaze. Maybe as a middle name.
