I prefer Shay, which has more of a country western feel to it (I guess via Cheyenne); Shea just makes me think of the butter. It's a fun sound though.

I’ve always thought it was a really pretty name for a girl. I do prefer Shae or Shay though. Not a fan of it on a boy at all.

Shea sounds masculine to me.
