Obviously I love it, as my youngest DS’s name is Moses. I’ve always loved the name and the biblical story of Moses, that’s why we went with it.

Sometimes I like it a lot and other times not so much. I think it sounds heavy which isn't necessarily a bad thing...there's a weight to it... but I've most often heard it as a surname and have thought it was an ugly one. Moshe sounds better to me, but I'd feel weird using it because I'm more familiar with Moses.

Mo is cute, and the *s ending is nice in a lowkey way.

It's not my favorite name, bc its too old for me. However, I met the sweetest Moses in my college.

It is an underused gem.

I really like Moses. I associate it with the Jewish / Biblical character that led his people out of bondage and with the abolitionist movement in the USA. Apart from the freedom from slavery tie, Moses also handed down the laws from God that many Jewish people observe, so it has a founding father and religious leader element to it as well.

It is a very powerful name and might be hard to live up to rather like Solomon or Mandela or any other name that has a strong association or is almost put on a pedestal.

I personally dislike it. It is very religious and has no strong usage so it feels very associated with the Bible. Also, it is Gwyneth Paltrow's son's name and I dislike her. Overall it is okay, it comes with Mo, at least.
