[Opinions] Corinne
Looked through my old stories that I wrote as an 8 year old (2012). One story was about a mysterious girl, and her name was Corinne. I really like this name, and I think it's pretty. I pronounce it "Cor-rin"/"Cuh-rin" and NOT "Cor-reen"/"Cuh-reen" which reminds me of the word Chlorine. I think that it sounds both tough and soft, which I really like. What do you think of the name Corinne? Do you like it, and do you ever see it coming into use anytime soon? I would consider this for a future daughter.

It's lovely! I'm not sure if I'd see coming into use anytime soon, though.
Corinne is a decent name, but I find all the vowels too short for a two-syllable name. (I also pronounce this spelling kuh-RIN, because the N is doubled and I don't think having a long vowel before a double-N makes sense - if you want that pronunciation, use Coreen, imo.) I much prefer Corinna, pronounced kuh-RIN-nuh, as I think the ending A makes it a little more substantial.
It's ok

it's a shade tainted for me because it's the name of the wicked mom in the Flowers in the Attic series. I kind of still like it as a middle name though.
*Though I will say this: I'm pretty sure both in the Lifetime movie and the movie from the 70s both adaptions pronounced it more similar to the way you said and not the French way so there's that.
