I think a lot of people don't like it because Electra is famous for killing her mother, which is why the Electra complex is called that.
Also, it sounds so much like 'electric' and maybe a bit silly because I think there's a comic book character named it.
My brother-in-law has an aunt named Electra / Elektra. My sister mentioned potentially using it for a future kid once, with MN June.
I posted about it on BtN and people responded to it positively.
I think they've got heavy associations (enough I would hesitate to use them), but it's not that big of a deal IRL. They're both pretty and interesting.
