Never heard it as a name in modern India, but there is a Sanskrit dveSiNI which is an epithet of the deified power, which is always feminine in Indian mythology, and by extension to other goddesses of the Hindu Pantheon. The pronounciation Diveshini is very peculiar (I mean I don't know of an Indian accent which will make it that), the standard pronounciation is best transcribed in English as dweshini with a dental d, labio-dental v, retroflex sh and n, and short i, and the word may become almost deshini in some pronounciations.
The literal meaning is someone who opposes or hates from the root dviS with cognates in Greek and Germanic (and congnates occur in Avestan).
