What’s wrong with Claudia

I far prefer the look and the sound of Claudia, but if you want it to sound like a cloud, you know, those grey things in the sky that shed rain, then Cloudia is the way to go.

No way. Sounds way too much like cloudy, which is generally not a well liked weather pattern.

I love the pronunciation, because "cloud" is much more appealing than "claw". But I prefer the spelling Claudia or Klaudia.

Well, it reflects the pronunciation of Claudia in a large part of the world (KLOW-dyah), but... it looks weird. Claudia is much more visually appealing.

I don’t like it one bit. The OW sound in it is very unsettling. Claudia, on the other hand, is a beautiful name.
