Dion (m) and Martel (f) are two of the five tv presenters of a UK tv programme called Homes Under the Hammer. The other three presenters have very ordinary names Martin, Tommy and Jacqui.

In South Africa, Dion is the name of a chain store selling household appliances etc, and Martel is a not very distinguished brandy.

I actually kind of like it, they seem to be "common sounding" enough to not seem weird in the real world. I dunno if I'd add it to my list, but I wouldn't mind seeing these names be more common.

I wonder if Dion is derived from Dionysus?
