Hey, if it makes you feel any better, Paisley is a nice print of design. I for one like it.
Unsurprisingly there are a lot of mean people on the internet. And of course considering it’s a name site, people are going to make some not so nice comments. Maybe you could really look into the history of your name or wear some paisley print and gain some confidence in it.
