WDYT of Sutton? This surname name is both popular for both boys and girls, moreso on girls. I like this name more on a boy. Is this name too trendy?

I love the name Sutton

Sutton Gregory - sounds like the name of an author (think Gerald Durrell)

Sutton Tobias - sounds very religious

Sutton August - antique charm, I like the vibe :)

I'm a fan, but not so much on a girl as a boy. Maybe it's because the only Sutton I've heard of so far is the youngest son of some YouTubers I watch (kkandbabyj). But as a name in and of itself, it's cute! If Easton can work as a name, surely so can Sutton!

As for combos, I definitely wouldn't pair it with a word name because then it'd sound like "sudden [insert word name]".

I immediately think of the Sutton Hoo treasure, which is fun. I guess the style of it is trendy but I've never heard of one.
