Renata is a cool name. It's ancient yet somehow also quite modern. I prefer it to the more popular French variant Renee.

I like it a lot. I do not find it harsh in tone. I actually find it has a lovely almost musical flow.

I like Renata, it's a little bit harsh in tone but regardless to me stands as one of the stronger female names in the ranks of Veronika, Andromeda or Roxana. It's not my favorite but if I had to make a list of "My top 100 favorite names" it would be on there.
