Courtney is a "mean girl" name for me. There is something very snooty about it. It has a lot of empty pretension to it. But at the same time, I like the sound. It really does remind me of the sound of a ball being hit in a tennis court. One thing I always wondered is, what would you call a Courtney for short? All the Courtneys I knew were Courtney in full. Court? That's kinda cute I guess.
