Personally prefer the Breton variant Solenn or the Italian Sole.

It just makes me think of Beyoncé’s sister. I prefer Soline or Solene.

I am not a huge fan, as mentioned in a previous comment I prefer Solenne.

I'm not normally a fan of the "ang" sound in names outside of Evangeline (and I really dislike Angie); but the "awnzh" of Solange is a bit softer. That said, I vastly prefer Solenne; but Solange isn't bad.

I’ve found it fascinating ever since I first encountered it in a book, many years ago.

I have heard of Solanga before somewhere I believe... a very striking sound. Solange without the ending A I am not as enticed by for some reason. Sounds a bit more blunt

Very lovely; I once taught with a French teacher who said that her daughter was Solennité, nn Solange. I've no idea if that is even possible, but it's an interesting idea. I'd rather be Solange, for sure!
