Although my mother spelt my name phoneticly,it is a common American
mispelling for Guerra,meaning light or fair skinned in spanish.
Normally used as a nick-name for lightest skinned child in a family. It may not be important to anyone but me,I just felt that it should be brought up.
Also that the pronounced version of Weda in German would commonly be Veda.
