I've been looking far and wide, but I can't seem to find the meaning to the name Dashana. I think it has something to do with Hindi culture or something but I'm not sure. Help?

It might be from Sanskrit daśan – ten and na̅man – name. Looks like male name.

To me, Dashana looks like a respelling of the metronymic De Shawna.
De = Fr. "of"
Shawna < Jane
