[Opinions] Baby Annoucement for Twin Girls (Unique, but catchy.)
Today somebody I know welcomed twin girls named Cyane Ultima, and Isabeau Lilac. Cyane is pronounced SY-ANNE.
Offtopic, but I notice a lot of people are born on January 6th, a lot honestly.
Oh, and somebody else welcomed Florian Jace, and another one, Vera Thomasine.
Cyane Ultima: As suspected, Ultima means “ultimate”, and “end, farthest point” the parents chose this because they wanted something a bit insulated with a mixture of spunky, and this is the “farthest point” on their relationship, getting closer and starting a family.
Isabeau Lilac: Taking a break from the quite common Isabelle, they parents decided to go with Isabeau, as it is an uncommon variant. Lilac was because Lilac is the parents both favorite color, and interestingly enough, once a upon a time long ago, the parents met by the father coming over to paint the mother’s bedroom walls purple. A start of their relationship I guess.
No info for Florian as the parents just chose cause they liked it, and Vera Thomasine, Thomasine is just a female variant for Thomas, her grandfather, and Vera was the name they always liked.
So, as usual, what do you guys think?

"Cyan" means blue.
Cyane Ultima sounds like the name of a color. Ultra-blue.

Did you know the color "Ultramarine" got its name because it came over the ocean?
Good thing the couple didn't meet when the father came over to pump out the septic system.
Those twin names sound like shades of paint, both of them.

Vera Thoamsine is pretty damn near perfect as far as sweet and quirky little antique names go. Florian Jace is... jarring. I love Florian. Jace is a dumb name and goes badly with it
Twin names are fine, the Ultima thing is a little ... strange? What do they mean insulated? How could it be the "furthest point" when presumably they're going to stay together? Also her life is going to be a lot more than just that first moment of it wherein she represents the growth of a new family... but... they have it backwards... Ultima means last??? Wonder if they would have liked Apex too. Or like...Prima? I bet Primavera would have appealed to them.
I like Isabeau Lilac.

Yeah, I found the Ultima think a bit questionable, as it literally means “last”. Like, what exactly is it supposed to mean? The last point of your relationship? The last and only children you’ll have? It would make sense if the oldest twin was Primera and the youngest was Ultima, like Prima and Ultima as well, but eh.

It means that they misunderstood the meaning of the word(not a name). They wanted to call her Cyane Massima / Maxima, or Cyane Definitiva(not a name either), and ended up calling her Cyane InLastPlace. A bullies’ paradise(she probably will meet kids who speak Italian/Portuguese/Spanish, I’m already feeling bad for her).
Anyway, Cyane and Lilac sound like cats or birds. Isabeau is ok.
