When Eliott first moved to Lakeville, having grown up in Texas, he had some trouble getting used to things, especially the much colder temperatures in winter. His next door neighbor, a young woman named Andie Priestley, invited him over to her apartment to have dinner with her and her roommate and gave him some tips. Eliott couldn't stop thinking about Andie when he returned home that night, promptly asking her out in the following days. About a year and a half later, when they got married, Eliott chose to take Andie's last name, Priestley, as he felt his own, Keo-Van Daele, was clunkier and resulted in more questions than he preferred to answer on a daily basis.
In their first few months of marriage, Andie introduced Eliott to painting, just as a fun little thing they could do together in their free time to relax. Eliott was a natural, finding new ways to combine color and shapes that Andie hadn't even begun to think of. They hung up several of his pieces in the rooms around their apartment, giving away several others.

When Andie found out that she was pregnant, neither she nor Eliott imagined that they'd have twins. They painted the room, with a number of Eliott's paintings gracing the walls, and set it up for one. Apparently, Benny's baby sister, Bailey, didn't want to be seen, as the doctor was never able to find her on the ultrasound. Fortunately, Eliott and Andie had enough friends that were willing to help them out by gifting them slightly used furniture items and baby clothes for Bailey.

With the twins growing fast, Eliott and Andie decided it was time to move out of their two bedroom, third floor apartment. Bailey especially had grown incredibly curious, exploring all windows and ledges possible. Though Andie or Eliott were with them constantly, it still scared Andie half to death. With that in mind, they managed to find a little three bedroom, one floor house that they thought was perfect for their growing little family.

A few months later, they welcomed their second daughter, Parker, or Perri as Bailey started to call her.

Despite being a dog groomer, Andie had always had a soft spot in her heart for cats as well. She and Eliott liked to take the kids to their local cat cafe, where they could pet and play with the kitties. One of these trips, the kids fell in love with an adorable little calico kitty, begging their parents to adopt her for them. A short discussion later, they were officially the owners of the little calico kitty.

Considering the possibility of growing their family further, Eliott and Andie decided that perhaps it was time for them to move again. Their little three bedroom house was enough space for them now, but the kids were growing fast. Bailey kept asking why she had to share with Perri while her brother got his own room. They were able to find an adorable, affordable house with five bedrooms! The master bedroom was on the ground floor, the other four upstairs. Eliott and Andie took the master bedroom and gave each of their three children their own room upstairs.

Benny started complaining about being the only boy in the family. Even the cat was a girl! he'd complain. He'd ask day in and day out when he was getting his little brother. Andie had to tell him that she didn't know if he'd ever get a little brother. When Benny started to cry, she suggested that maybe they get him a pet all his own, that his daddy could help him take care of. They ended up getting him a hamster by the name of Clifford.

Perri came crying to her parents one night. She wanted Inaya to sleep in her bed with her, but Inaya preferred Bailey. She cried about how Inaya felt more like Bailey's kitty and Benny and Clifford but she had no one. The next day, Andie and Eliott took their kids to look at cats agaian, letting Perri pick out which one she liked best. They ended up coming home with a Maine coon named Demeter.

When Eliott's mom, Tina, started showing signs of dementia, he wanted to be closer to home. He immediately reached out to the Abilene parks department and found a job there. They liked his resume and job experience enough to offer him the job on the spot during his interview. He did all this before even bringing it up with Andie, wanting to make sure that he would have proof to show her that they could easily make the transition.
When they told the kids they'd be moving, they had a lot of questions and a few concerns. Andie easily assuaged all their fears, though, reminding them that they had a lot of family in Abilene, so they'd never be lonely, not even at first.

Being an only child of young parents with little to their name, Andie never expected to get notice of a large inheritance. However, one of her favorite aunts, her mother's much older sister, had never had children of her own. Instead, she chose to leave everything to Andie. As she had been a rather successful woman, this meant Anadie inherited a rather large sum. Andie and Eliott decided to use it to pay off their mortgage. The rest, they put into college funds for their kids.

The Priestley's found themselves adopting a third cat. Benny found a little kitty, no older than a year old, playing in the street. Carefully, he made his way out into the road to save him. After a checkup at the vet and several "Found Cat; Call If Yours" posters with zero responses, Andie and Eliott decided that they could keep him. Benny called him Nero and took on most of the cat's housebreaking himself.

Andie had never seen a cold run through her family as fast and as strong as it did this year. The entire family was knocked out for a week. She and Perri got the worst of it. She herself was sick for almost a month, while Perri even ended up with a short stay at the hospital for observation. Fortunately, everyone recovered in the end, even if Perri wound up with a strong cough for months after.

Eliott still wanted to keep his job at the Parks Department, however, so he and Andie made a compromise. He'd stay in Texas, videochat with them when he got the chance, and come visit them every month for a few days. To save money, they sold their house and he got a studio apartment.

The long distance thing did not work for Andie and Eliott. Both started seeing other people and before they knew it, they were both asking for a divorce. Eliott and Adelia talked about having kids. Eliott wanted more, but Adelia insisted that having kids would put her career into a standstill. As a compromise, they decided to get a pet. They ended up with a mouse that Adelia named after her favorite oepra singer and inspiration, Leontyne Price.
Andie and Sammy ended up moving their little family from the big city to one of about 17,000. Sammy felt like he could do more good as a doctor in a smaller place, as there would be fewer options for healthcare. It also allowed Andie to start teaching those who might otherwise not have received English lessons.

A small accident this year revealed that Adelia and Elliot wouldn't be waiting as long as they thought to expand their family. During rehearsal, one of the lights crashed to the stage, nearly crushing Adelia's foot but falling mere inches short. In a routine checkup afterwards to ensure her shock was the only damage, they ran some tests, only for them to show up positive for pregnancy. Adelia worked with the company to create a plan for her maternity leave, especially when she discovered that she was going to have twins.
Since all three of the kids are now teens, Sammy and Andie decided to get each one a Betta fish to care for on their own. They just so happened to come with names that the kids decided to keep, since they enjoyed the royal theme.

When Leontyne the mouse died this year, Eliott was a little relieved. He saw how Lyric feared the creature, despite Adelia's assuring the child that it was safe. They ended up replacing Leontyne with a dog, a mini Schnauzer that Adelia called Sonatina, since the name she came with was Tina.
Another terrible bout of the flu swept through Andie and Sammy's house. Sammy kept apologizing, even through his own sickness, believing that he must have brought it home from one of his patients. Once again, Perri ended up with a short stint in the hospital, having gotten the worst of things as she had before.

The twins lugged the cat inside, where their parents were talking with their friend's parents, showing the cat off. Hesitantly, Adelia agreed to get the cat checked out. When Sonatina seemed to get along with the cat (and the cat with Sonatina), Adelia accepted that the cat was the newest addition to their family.
Andie and Sammy had given up on the idea that they were ever going to have kids of their own, resigning themselves to that fact and choosing to stay unmarried. However, Andie fell ill, sick to her stomach every day. One morning, she passed out and Sammy rushed her to the doctor, only for them to tell her that she was expecting... triplets.

When Andie found out that she was pregnant, neither she nor Eliott imagined that they'd have twins. They painted the room, with a number of Eliott's paintings gracing the walls, and set it up for one. Considering the possibility of growing their family further, Eliott and Andie decided that perhaps it was time for them to move again. Their little three bedroom house was enough space for them now, but the kids were growing fast. Bailey kept asking why she had to share with Perri while her brother got his own room. They were able to find an adorable, affordable house with five bedrooms! The master bedroom was on the ground floor, the other four upstairs. When Eliott's mom, Tina, started showing signs of dementia, he wanted to be closer to home. He immediately reached out to the Abilene parks department and found a job there. They liked his resume and job experience enough to offer him the job on the spot during his interview. He did all this before even bringing it up with Andie, wanting to make sure that he would have proof to show her that they could easily make the transition.
When they told the kids they'd be moving, they had a lot of questions and a few concerns. Andie easily assuaged all their fears, though, reminding them that they had a lot of family in Abilene, so they'd never be lonely, not even at first.

Benny called him Nero and took on most of the cat's housebreaking himself.

Andie had never seen a cold run through her family as fast and as strong as it did this year. The entire family was knocked out for a week. She and Perri got the worst of it. Fortunately, everyone recovered in the end, even if Perri wound up with a strong cough for months after.

Eliott and Adelia talked about having kids. Eliott wanted more, but Adelia insisted that having kids would put her career into a standstill. As a compromise, they decided to get a pet. They ended up with a mouse that Adelia named after her favorite oepra singer and inspiration, Leontyne Price.
Andie and Sammy ended up moving their little family from the big city to one of about 17,000. Sammy felt like he could do more good as a doctor in a smaller place, as there would be fewer options for healthcare. It also allowed Andie to start teaching those who might otherwise not have received English lessons.

A small accident this year revealed that Adelia and Elliot wouldn't be waiting as long as they thought to expand their family. During rehearsal, one of the lights crashed to the stage, nearly crushing Adelia's foot but falling mere inches short. In a routine checkup afterwards to ensure her shock was the only damage, they ran some tests, only for them to show up positive for pregnancy. Adelia worked with the company to create a plan for her maternity leave, especially when she discovered that she was going to have twins.
Since all three of the kids are now teens, Sammy and Andie decided to get each one a Betta fish to care for on their own. They just so happened to come with names that the kids decided to keep, since they enjoyed the royal theme.

When Leontyne the mouse died this year, Eliott was a little relieved. He saw how Lyric feared the creature, despite Adelia's assuring the child that it was safe. They ended up replacing Leontyne with a dog, a mini Schnauzer that Adelia called Sonatina, since the name she came with was Tina.
Another terrible bout of the flu swept through Andie and Sammy's house. Sammy kept apologizing, even through his own sickness, believing that he must have brought it home from one of his patients. Once again, Perri ended up with a short stint in the hospital, having gotten the worst of things as she had before.

Jacob and Lyric met a young cat one day while they were out playing at a friend's house. They asked their friend if the cat was theirs, but the friend said no. The twins lugged the cat inside, where their parents were talking with their friend's parents, showing the cat off. Hesitantly, Adelia agreed to get the cat checked out. When Sonatina seemed to get along with the cat (and the cat with Sonatina), Adelia accepted that the cat was the newest addition to their family.
Andie and Sammy had given up on the idea that they were ever going to have kids of their own, resigning themselves to that fact and choosing to stay unmarried. However, Andie fell ill, sick to her stomach every day. One morning, she passed out and Sammy rushed her to the doctor, only for them to tell her that she was expecting... triplets.
