This name is in my family tree. My immigrant great-grandfather had a sister back in Italy named Lucrezia, which is why one of my grandma's sisters was named Lucretia ("Aunt Lu").

Despite being of predominately Italian heritage, my family (both sides) is Americanized enough that we no longer speak the language; so I think it would be weird for me to actually use Lucrezia, despite the fact that I prefer it to Lucretia. The only way I could see myself using it (along with another extra-Italian favorite, Fiammetta) is if I married into an Italian family much closer to their roots.

It sounds rich and sumptuous. I like it a lot.

I adore it, it’s so regal and elegant, it almost gives me the same feeling that Pandora does, but is much prettier imo. It’s splendid, stunning.

Too difficult for me to say. I don't like the "crez" either, from an aesthetic level.

Depending on how it is or isn't pronounced, it's either very pretty or... not. I like it all the same, but I think it'll be butchered by at least the odd person. I may or may not like it pronounced the wrong way, haha.
It's 8000x less dowdy than Lucretia. I think Lucretia is...ok...I don't like loo-kree-shah... but either way it's a very elderly name with very elderly connotations... Lucrezia is so much more pretty and youthful.

Lucrezia is a strange combination of bourgeois and patrician. While Lucretia conjures up suicide and a tragic victim, Lucrezia is the spicy and social climbing contemporary that gossips about Lucretia's fate behind her fan.

I adore this name. It sounds ravishing with my Italian last name! Ugh, such a beauty.

I like it, but it seems a bit OTT on a real person. It makes me think of Lucrezia Borgia.

I've always thought it was a pretty name, if a little unusual. I once made a character with this name; she was the protagonist's landlord.
