[Opinions] Danielle
Do you like the name Danielle? Why?
Which middle names work, Joy?
Are Danielle & Cassidy good as a sibset?
THIS WILL BE FUN FOR ME TO READ: How do you picture a Danielle? What hair, personality, clothing?
Do you know any Danielle's?
Thanks!

You're likely not going to like my response, but I have never, ever liked Danielle. And being a 90s child I knew a bunch of Danielles; and even if most of the bearers (baring one or two really unpleasant little girls) were perfectly nice people, it was one of the popular names of the time I least liked to hear. The "Dan" sound already didn't really appeal to me (also why I'm not big on Daniel for a boy), but the latter half. It sounds like "yell." "Dan yell." It's like nails on a chalkboard to me, sorry.
Danielle for me is one of those overlooked, inoffensive but lacking any real personality names; French but not TOO French, you know. I grew up with a LOTTTT of Danielles, Michelles, and Nicoles, so to answer your question, a Danielle can look like anyone, be anything. It's a blank slate name.
Sure, Joy works as a middle name, that's the great thing about those one-syllable middles, they work with darn near anything. Danielle Joy is a perfectly acceptable name, it works well,
Is Cassidy a boy or a girl in the sibset? I think Dani and Cassidy work, and Dani and Cass is really cute, but Danielle is just a bit too frilly next to Cassidy, it makes it ambiguous.

I dislike Danielle and Gabrielle about equally. Daniela is better, but still not good - probably because I'd happily use Daniel for a boy. I think the Yell sound puts me off, and a general whininess resulting from the emphasis on the last syllable.
I can't really help with your other questions, I'm afraid.

Hi !!!
I rate Danielle 4/10. I prefer Daniela but I think that both are dated and boring.
Danielle Joy is ok but I prefer something more cheerful.
Cassidy & Danielle? Not a good sibset. I quite dislike both names and they are too far in their style.
I don't know any Danielle but I know few Daniela who are in their 40s and 50s.
A Danielle is petite but very sporty. She has curly, brown hair and brown eyes. She wears glasses. She is very easy-going and quite tomboysh but always positive.
