Why does almost everyone agree that Jake on a girl is weird, but a lot of people like Blake on a girl? If anything I'd say the "Bl" is more masculine than the "J".

"but a lot of people like Blake on a girl?"I suspect that the people who dislike Jake on a girl would also dislike Blake. Personally, I'm not very fond of Blake in general. Bl- seems Scottish to me. I know that Blake is English, but, in general, bl- gives me Scottish vibes.
