It sounds pretty but it's a bit insubstantial. Yes, very much associated with the singer. I remember the name becoming quite popular in France after she became famous. I do like it, but not enough to use. I hate the nickname Ali (or Ally, Allie) so boring and dated. It sounds like ah-lee-ZEH (the EH is long, hard to explain). I think it English it would become ah-lee-ZAY which I'm not such a huge fan of. Alizée Celandine
