[Opinions] Isabel and Isabelle

I prefer Isobel
Isabel is fine, and Isobel is much nicer. Neither would shorten naturally to Bella, so they're safe.
Isabelle is fine in France; in an English context, it just looks needlessly frilly and fussy.
I prefer Isobel; it looks more distinctive I suppose.
Isobel. I like Annabel, but not as much.
I'd never use Isabeau, but its wonderful eccentricity really appeals to me. And I know a very nice Isabeau, which always helps.

I like Isabel (sweet and friendly) and Isobel (a little more mysterious and medieval-looking).
Isabelle and Isabella are both frilly and make me think of royalty (or just some kid whose parents like frilly names). I don't think they're as approachable as the simpler versions.
Annabel is nice but I prefer Isabel because the "bell" part seems more intentional in Annabel. Like Isabel is just a whole name and Isa is too short for a proper first name, but Annabel could have been Anna and it's obviously had a bell put on the end deliberately. Bel/bell is my least favorite part of these names so I don't want it to be emphasized.
Isabeau is interesting and I like seeing it, but it is a little awkward to say. It reminds me too much of "Beau" as a given name which I don't like at all, but I guess I'd rather meet an Isabeau than an Isabella.

Isabelle and Isabella over every other variant. Can't choose between those two though.
I don't think so, only I'm not fond of Bella. I prefer the Izzy lol
Annabelle is the cow version of Fido to me, sorry.
I don't like Isabeau, don't like the sound of beau. I also don't like how it looks, I prefer just "Bo" over "Beau"

I think a little charm has been lost due to Isabella fever. I still love Isabel (my preferred spelling) a lot, though. It's just strikingly beautiful, imo.
If Isabel(la) wasn't so overused, I'd name my first daughter Isabel without a doubt. As it is, I might go for Annabel or something else. I love Annabel but it doesn't have quite the level of elegance for me that Isabel does.
When I was a teenager, I was desperate for two daughters named Isabel and Anna, and if there had been a third, Grace. At 35, I still like this set. (The Anna and Grace as sisters thing doesn't bother me, though I probably wouldn't use Grace these days anyway.)
Isabelle is still pretty, but it's overly elaborate. Isobel is nice, but as far as I know, it doesn't really happen in the US. Isabeau doesn't do it for me.

My favorite form of this name has to be Isabela. I personally don't like Annabel because i grew up with a really creepy kids' cartoon title Anabel that gave me nightmares XD I get that Isabelle and Isabel might sound the same in some languages, but the "e" in Isabelle would get pronounced in my language (Think Isabelly), and that's why i'm not a big fan of "-elle" names. I really like Isobel, though.
