[Opinions] Roma
For some reason, I'm smitten with this name. I'm of course aware of its associations (the Romani, the Cuarón movie, the city), but none of them overpowers the name for me. What do you think?
I like the combo Roma Theodora a lot. Some others:
Roma Betony
Roma Cecily
Roma Celestine
Roma Clarice
Roma Delphine
Roma Dorothy
Roma Felicity
Roma Genevieve
Roma Georgiana
Roma Gertrude
Roma Inez
Roma Leonora
Roma Rosalind
Roma Tatiana
Roma Winifred

I like Roma a lot. I think of the good tomatoes fondly associated with the name :)
To me it's akin to naming your child Gypsy. I can't see it without that association. The tomatoes and the City alone wouldn't have bothered me.
Of the mns I like Genevieve and Leonora best.

I like it
I think it'd be hard to escape the tomato association, at least in the US, which is bearable but less Romantic than the associations you listed.
I don't care for Roma, but I'll admit to liking Romina, despite not generally liking names associated with cities/countries/tribes/nationalities.
My favorites with that (+ the MNs) would be
Romina Inez
Romina Leonora
Romina Rosalind

I really love Roma, Rome and Romi for a girl. Roma Cecily and Roma Felicity caught my eye =)
