worlds apart. Dylan belongs with Emily and Sophia while Ksenia goes with Karli and Serafina
Wow... Karli? And Serafina? All 3 of those names are worlds apart to me
Dylan is ok, don't like ksenia
Dylan OK. It's a shiny 90s playskool name mostly. It bothers me less than most of them do, way less, and if I had a partner who really loved it I'd be able to consider it.
Ksenia is pretty - I love Xenia though.
edit: I just looked up Dylan's meaning and it now appeals more.

Dylan: Boring but harmless.
(ETA: I'm partly being nice to Dylan just to keep attention off of Dillon. I'm irrationally annoyed by Dillon as a first name.)
Ksenia: Interesting. Pretty, earthy, and spiky like thistles.
(ETA: People are mentioning Xenia which is also good, but Xenia is more spacey while Ksenia is earthy.)

Agree about Dillon - somehow, so much uglier! It takes away all the Welshness or something?
I don't like Dylan, never have, it just doesn't look or sound attractive to me.
Ksenia on the other hand I love, it's so pretty. It's definitely got an eastern vibe to it so for me using would probably involve being always ready to shoot down a gross uncle, unfortunately. But if my folks weren't massive bigots I might pitch this name more often because it's lovely.
