Paige and Daniel met when she came into the animal shelter looking for a dog. She had just moved to the city after landing her first major job in the theatre industry and wanted to celebrate. Daniel, being the charismatic man that he is, started flirting with ner the moment she stepped in the door. That was almost five years ago. They didn't start dating until a few years into their friendship.
It may only be their first year of marriage, but, boy, it sure has been an eventful one. While on their honeymoon, they went out on a bike ride. An inconsiderate driver hit Paige. She spent several days in the hospital and even after physical therapy, she still walks with a limp.

Shortly after they returned from their eventful honeymoon, Paige found out that they'd be adding another member to their family. When they found out they were expecting a boy, Paige and Daniel immediately started decorating their spare room for him, converting it from Paige's home work space. The day they brought little Quentin home, neither slept a wink, staring at their newborn in awe.

Unfortunately, before they could start making too many plans, Paige wound up in the ER with a miscarriage.
Towards the end of the year, as they were relaxing after Quentin had fallen asleep, Daniel blurted out, "You know, I've been meaning to say something for awhile... I'm bi." Paige shrugged it off, accepting it just like that, laughing as Daniel went on to explain why he felt he needed to say something right this second. He went on a rambling story about one of the actors in her newest show, something about having gone to high school with the guy and crushing on him majorly back then. When they met this year, he realized he still had the hots for the guy. Paige laughingly ended the conversation with, "Well, you're coming out as bi, so I'm coming out as straight. Congrats to both of us!"

Paige's career has been really taking off, even more than in the past few years. She got word this year that one of the shows she wrote (and stars in) was making its way to Broadway itself! Safe to say that much celebration ensued upon receiving that news.

Turns out all the celebrating of Paige's show making it to Broadway resulted in Baby #2! Quentin waited patiently outside the hospital room with his grandma while Paige was in labor, invited in to meet his baby sister the minute he could. Quentin fell in love with the tiny baby.

When Quentin started school, the little boy started coming home in tears. Apparently, the other kids were teasing a d bullying the boy because he preferred to play with the "girly" toys and the girls. Paige asked why he played with the girls instead of the boys and Quentin replied that he felt more like a girl than a boy. Paige and Daniel started doing some research into parenting a trans child and approached Quentin's teacher once they figured out exactly how to proceed. They informed her that Quentin wanted to go by Astrid now and was actually a little girl.

The minute Odessa hit a year and a half, Paige and Daniel started trying for Baby #3, finding ways to "spice up" their relationship on a regular basis. It took pretty quickly, because shortly before Odessa turned two, Paige found out she was already four months pregnant. Four months later, a slightly premature Ember was born. As before with Odessa, Astrid took to the new baby immediately, already becoming the baby's protector. Odessa, however, took some warming up.
Unsurprisingly, Astrid has continued havung trouble at school. The bullies started coming out in full force once she started going by Astrid, and this year hasn't been any easier. Paige and Daniel have started considering putting her in a private school and at her teacher's recommendation have found her a therapist to talk to abiut the bullying. It breaks Paige's heart.

With yet another show moving to Broadway, this time in the writer/director role, Paige has started earning even more. She can with certainty and pride say that she has made it! And, boy, does it feel good!
Apparently, those "Broadway, here I come!" celebrations of Paige and Daniel's need to have more protection involved, because surprise of all surprises, Paige wound up giving birth nine months after that night to a little girl they named Bethany, after one of the characters in her show.

With the news of her most recent show being nominated for several large awards, more celebrations ensued... and so did Baby #5! Another little girl joined the ranks of the Lopez-Yoo sisters. "I gotta stop succeeding so we can stop having back to back babies!" Paige joked. (Daniel, as the stay at home parent, secretly loved it.)

Tragedy struck the Lopez-Yoo family when Maricela fell suddenly and swiftly ill. A quick trip to the doctor revealed advanced staged cancer. Within a couple months she was gone.
She didn't live long enough to meet her newest granddaughter, Beatrix, named after her. Following the pattern of the last few Lopez-Yoo girls, Trixie came as a result of more success in Paige's career and more celebration in both Paige and Daniel's lives.

After six girls, Daniel convinced Paige to try for Baby#7, hoping for a boy this time around. And it was just their luck! Baby #7 came into the world screaming and kicking, like the strong little boy he is. Astrid has continued her role of protector with her younger siblings.
Now with seven kids, five of those coming one after the other in a nearly endless streak, Paige and Daniel got into a small argument. They've moved houses several times and, though Daniel loves that the number of kids keeps him busy at home, Paige is worn out from working on top of being constantly pregnant, giving birth, or post-partum. The argument didn't last long as Daniel quickly came to see Paige's point of view.
Fortunately for Paige, her work continues to be a raging success, her paycheck rising with every new piece she writes, directs, or acts in. "It's all I ever dreamed of," she said upon accepting her latest award. "All and so, so much more."

With Astrid now thirteen, Paige and Daniel wondered about finding her a friend and mentor with similar life experiences. They took her to a meet up of young people in the LGBTQ+ community. Astrid quickly hit it off with an older girl, Ryann. Ryann confessed that she was living in foster care. Immediately, Pige and Daniel started the process of adopting her.
Since most of the kids are still young, they all would tag along with Paige, Daniel, and Astrid to the youth meetups. One day, on their way home, Stuart started crying. When asked why, he explained that he met a boy about his age in the group that he really, really liked-- like, like-liked (Stuart's exact words)-- but the other boy laughed at him when Stuart told him he had a crush on him. "He said I couldn't like him because I was obviously straight and only here because of Astrid, and he wouldn't listen to me when I told him that I didn't like girls at all." Long story short, Stuart told his family that he's gay.
With all the success that she's found, Paige has decided to take some time off to focus on herself, her marriage, and her children. She still works, now mostly writing, but she also gets to spend more time with all ten of her kids than she ever had the chance to before.

When Quentin started school, the little boy started coming home in tears. Apparently, the other kids were teasing a d bullying the boy because he preferred to play with the "girly" toys and the girls. Paige asked why he played with the girls instead of the boys and Quentin replied that he felt more like a girl than a boy. Paige and Daniel started doing some research into parenting a trans child and approached Quentin's teacher once they figured out exactly how to proceed. They informed her that Quentin wanted to go by Astrid now and was actually a little girl.

The minute Odessa hit a year and a half, Paige and Daniel started trying for Baby #3, finding ways to "spice up" their relationship on a regular basis. It took pretty quickly, because shortly before Odessa turned two, Paige found out she was already four months pregnant. Four months later, a slightly premature Ember was born. As before with Odessa, Astrid took to the new baby immediately, already becoming the baby's protector. Odessa, however, took some warming up.
Unsurprisingly, Astrid has continued havung trouble at school. The bullies started coming out in full force once she started going by Astrid, and this year hasn't been any easier. Paige and Daniel have started considering putting her in a private school and at her teacher's recommendation have found her a therapist to talk to abiut the bullying. It breaks Paige's heart.

With yet another show moving to Broadway, this time in the writer/director role, Paige has started earning even more. She can with certainty and pride say that she has made it! And, boy, does it feel good!
Apparently, those "Broadway, here I come!" celebrations of Paige and Daniel's need to have more protection involved, because surprise of all surprises, Paige wound up giving birth nine months after that night to a little girl they named Bethany, after one of the characters in her show.

With the news of her most recent show being nominated for several large awards, more celebrations ensued... and so did Baby #5! Another little girl joined the ranks of the Lopez-Yoo sisters. "I gotta stop succeeding so we can stop having back to back babies!" Paige joked. (Daniel, as the stay at home parent, secretly loved it.)

Tragedy struck the Lopez-Yoo family when Maricela fell suddenly and swiftly ill. A quick trip to the doctor revealed advanced staged cancer. Within a couple months she was gone.
She didn't live long enough to meet her newest granddaughter, Beatrix, named after her. Following the pattern of the last few Lopez-Yoo girls, Trixie came as a result of more success in Paige's career and more celebration in both Paige and Daniel's lives.

After six girls, Daniel convinced Paige to try for Baby#7, hoping for a boy this time around. And it was just their luck! Baby #7 came into the world screaming and kicking, like the strong little boy he is. Astrid has continued her role of protector with her younger siblings.
Now with seven kids, five of those coming one after the other in a nearly endless streak, Paige and Daniel got into a small argument. They've moved houses several times and, though Daniel loves that the number of kids keeps him busy at home, Paige is worn out from working on top of being constantly pregnant, giving birth, or post-partum. The argument didn't last long as Daniel quickly came to see Paige's point of view.
Fortunately for Paige, her work continues to be a raging success, her paycheck rising with every new piece she writes, directs, or acts in. "It's all I ever dreamed of," she said upon accepting her latest award. "All and so, so much more."

With Astrid now thirteen, Paige and Daniel wondered about finding her a friend and mentor with similar life experiences. They took her to a meet up of young people in the LGBTQ+ community. Astrid quickly hit it off with an older girl, Ryann. Ryann confessed that she was living in foster care. Immediately, Pige and Daniel started the process of adopting her.
Since most of the kids are still young, they all would tag along with Paige, Daniel, and Astrid to the youth meetups. One day, on their way home, Stuart started crying. When asked why, he explained that he met a boy about his age in the group that he really, really liked-- like, like-liked (Stuart's exact words)-- but the other boy laughed at him when Stuart told him he had a crush on him. "He said I couldn't like him because I was obviously straight and only here because of Astrid, and he wouldn't listen to me when I told him that I didn't like girls at all." Long story short, Stuart told his family that he's gay.
With all the success that she's found, Paige has decided to take some time off to focus on herself, her marriage, and her children. She still works, now mostly writing, but she also gets to spend more time with all ten of her kids than she ever had the chance to before.
