Year 1: Betty has a miscarriage. Afterwards, she starts writing poems because it helps her cope with the sadness. Also this year, Nick gets a pay raise.

Year 2: Betty starts working more hours and gets a pay raise. Nick takes up the guitar and is learning to play in what little free time he has.

Year 3: Betty gives birth to a daughter named Genevieve Iris Hansen. Genevieve has wavy black hair and brown eyes. She looks exactly like her mom except for the eye color. Nick's hours get cut when the hospital hires some new doctors. He's grateful for the cut, though, because it means more time at home with Betty and Genevieve.

-Genevieve has just graduated from The University of New Mexico, with a double major in biology and education. She has started teaching high school biology, and is starting her Master's online.
-Gregory is taking computer science at the University of York. When not in class, he's playing soccer, something he is very gifted at.
-Cecilia is also studying at the University of York. She plans to get a degree in psychology. Acting is one of her biggest loves and she loves to act in dramas put on by a club she's a part of.
-Josie wants to be a veterinarian and is going to the University of London hoping to achieve just that. In her free time, she sings and plays the guitar. She loves posting song covers online.
-Ria started ballet when she was two and is wonderful at it. Her whole family loves to watch her dance.
