[Facts] Question Regarding Name Day(s) For Sarah/Sara
Hi and how are you? I thought I would write this to ask a question, (and for a possible request if doable) regarding a name submission for Sarah and Sara. My question is, when I was searching the name Sarah, I happened to notice, that there was a day celebrated for the name; and the only result that had shown up was in France on October 4th. I had thought to myself after viewing this, "Hmm...I wonder if there are/is another/other country(ies) where the name is recognized.". So this was when I had taken it up to myself to do a search on the internet and apparently there are some other countries, that celebrate Sarah/Sara.
A result, that I was able to find comes from Spain, (and I guess you can put this for the same as with Portugal); where Sara is celebrated/recognized on July 13th. However, if you wish to view evidence for this matter, the link to the webpage/website can be found here: www.nerjatoday.com/nerja/names-and-name-days
Moreover, getting to the point of my message; Would you think it would be possible, that this edit could be implemented to the submission post for Sarah and Sara? If you think this small request could be fulfilled, I would very thankfully appreciate it and if you happen to need additional information, you are more than welcome to contact me; for I would be grateful in doing some more research on this/the matter.
Again, I thank you kindly for your time and hope to hear back soon!
Thank you,
~Sarah (veeduh96)

The reason for the different dates is likely because Sarah is an Old Testament name, and therefore it has a relatively short history of usage as a name in continental Europe. There isn’t a universal nameday for Sarah, because there isn’t a well-known St Sarah.
Looking through Spanish sources, there seeems to be several possible namedays for Sara (https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sara_(nombre), depending on which minor saint you choose.
In France, namedays are often not related to Catholic feast days, especially for newer names or names whose usage isn’t related to a Catholic Saint.
In Portugal, namedays aren’t celebrated.
