[Opinions] Carlene

Too country sounding for me, but better than Darlene.
It’s way better than Darlene, but I don’t like it that much.
I think it's ok
I definitely dislike it. It sounds like a made-up mish-mash of Ca- names and -lene names. No way.
Just about anything would be better than Darlene!
Carlene, however, looks odd. I suppose it's a syncopated form of Caroline, with the e to prevent it from sounding like Car Line, as in, available stock at Hertz or Avis. But it could also be a wash-and-polish product, or something to clean the wheels or tyres. I much prefer Charlene, but not enough to use.
If I were Ms Carter, whom I've never heard of, I'd have stuck to Rebecca.

Oh, I see what you mean. I don't necessarily agree with it, but I see what you mean.
Yeah, it's very much better than Darlene, but that isn't really saying much. I don't like Darlene at all.
Carlene is okay, but it's not as pretty to me as either Carla, Carly or Charlene. It's very country-western, because of the singer probably, but Phil Vassar also had a song called Carlene.

Carlene, I just realized....I don't really want to stay with my man all the while knowing that the only reason he's with me is because you rejected him because I threw away my pride and begged you to. Here, take him.
"Carlene? Oh, sorry, Jolene, I got you mixed up with somebody else. You can still keep away from my man though."
