[Opinions] Chester

Chet makes me think if Chet Atkins, not the kind of music I usually enjoy but I'll make an exception for him any time.
Chester, OTOH, is all Chester Williams for me: a brilliant South African rugby player who died too young.
So, good associations, but not good enough for me to ever consider using either name.

Chester reminds me of an old man.
It sounds like a dog name.
I think it'd be cute for a cat or dog. But on a person it's just dwerpy. And Chet sounds a bit too close, in normal playground talk, to shit.
Don't like it
I had no idea Chet was a NN for Chester! I imagine a frat boy who wears bowties, middle-aged 20 years ago (no, I don't like it).
Chester / Chet reminds me of Buster (dog name), Lester (molester), Fester (Addams Family), Chad (jock).
I like Esther and Sylvester, though. And Dexter and Jett have a similar vibe, I guess, but seem younger.
Other comparisons: Walter's more dignified, Carter's more laidback, Hunter's more woodsy, Grover's more earthy, Webster's more nerdy.

No. It reminds me of cheese or mice, for some unclear reason. Chet sounds like he likes rowing and buying shares.
