Husband and I differ on this.
I like Catherine and it maybe helps that my favourite aunt is Catherine and this is the spelling of her name. I can’t stand Caitlin as I’ve never liked a person called Caitlin I’ve met.
Husband prefers Caitlin as his ex sister in law was called Catherine but spelt Kathryn and they never got on.
