DW [23]: Ilana Tziporah (Wolff) Lehtinen - originally from Canada, works as a Cantor
Taisto moved to Canada for university and met Ilana through friends. He decided to stay when they got engaged. This year they got married! They hope to have a large family, but not for at least few years.
YEAR 1 - Taisto is robbed one night while walking home from drinks with a friend. It shook him up and he now has to replace everything in his wallet, but they are thankful that he was not hurt.
YEAR 2 - The Lehtinens win the lottery! After paying off their student loans, they decide to start college funds for their future children.
YEAR 3 - Taisto is awarded most valuable employee of the year at work.
YEAR 4 - There’s a strong hurricane and a lot of businesses and homes are damaged. The Lehtinen’s apartment building is slightly damaged so they have to stay in a hotel for a few weeks whilst repairs are made. They try to look on the bright side and treat it like a second honeymoon.
YEAR 5 - Pet Dog: Wolf The couple decides to get a dog, which they playfully name Wolf, in part for its’ looks, being a husky, and in a nod to Ilana’s maiden name, Wolff.
YEAR 6 - It’s a boy! Our couple has their first child, a son, whom they name Asher Kotivalo. Asher due to their happiness at having a child, and Kotivalo (Finnish for “homelight”) because having a child made Taisto think of connection to home and family.
