I don't like Fable or Fox for either gender, for more than one reason, but one is, they both have connotations of deceit.
Finley sounds preppy and uninteresting, but I'd go with that. Finn is okay.
I like Fern as unisex. It doesn't sound overtly feminine to me, because of Fernando and Fernand, and ferns don't flower. I'd use it.
I like the idea of Farah as masculine but wouldn't use it.
I like Fran as masculine but only as a nickname.
I could see Ferris / Farris as unisex. It sounds like Paris.
