[Opinions] Re: WDYTO Diana
I used to be indifferent-leaning-towards-dislike for Diana as I thought it be quite a dated, stuffy name - I especially (and still) think this about Diane.Growing up British also, I associated this name heavily with Princess Diana of Wales, not a terrible namesake but one I couldn't shake when I heard the name and therefore could never imagine using it on a child myself. With the rise of Wonder Woman, a new association for Diana came into play, another strong female and I started to see the name in a more youthful light. My husband likes Diana a lot but I still can't bring myself to move it to our agreed first name list; it is, however, on there for middle names. And I wouldn't mind seeing a little Diana running around as somebody else's offspring, I think I would be pleasantly surprised.https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/117870?sort=name&pop=ew
