I don’t mind it.
I’d never use it, ever, and probably would classify it as “hillbilly” and somewhat ugly, but I actually wouldn’t mind to meet a little Bonnie.
I have known of two Bonnies... one was a few years older than I, when I was a teenager, super sweet, lots of fun to be around. Probably is in her later 30’s, early 40’s now. Had a brother named Zack, which always seemed an odd sibset to me.
The other is an elderly aunt of my husbands. Never met her, but everything I heard about her was wonderful and how sweet she is, so those are the associations I have with the name, both of which are good. I just don’t think it changes my like for the name much.
