[Opinions] Louisa
I posted a while back about my new love for Louise, and got some great combo ideas from that thread. However, I've started to prefer Louisa - maybe Little Women has me thinking about Louisa May Alcott, I don't know. :-)
Anyway, what do you think of Louisa? I'm loving it, but having difficulty pairing it with a middle name I adore. These are the ones that I'm tossing around right now:
Louisa Mary
Louisa Katharine
Louisa Tamsin
Louisa Ruby
I'm not 100% sold on any of them, though. Mostly classics keep coming up, but I'm worried that makes Louisa stale. Anybody else have any other ideas?

I find it very charming and old-world, and I always prefer names ending in a to their e ending equivalents: Julia > Julie, Diana > Diane, and Louisa > Louise.

I love Louisa.
My favorite is Louisa Caroline
I also like:
Louisa Josephine (too little women?)
Louisa Margot
Louisa Violet
Less traditional... Hmm... I don't think it works with modern middle names but I'll give it a try.
Louisa River
Louisa Romilly
Louisa Posy
Louisa Wilder

If Louisa were a March sister, and not the author, then yes, I'd think Louisa Josephine was too Little Women. But as it stands I don't think it's too obvious.
I also like Louisa Margot and Louisa Romilly (suggested in other replies, too).

I think it's very nice. It doesn't sound dull when paired with very traditional names, and it grounds lighter or more modern names. It reminds me of Theresa a bit but is less generic or recent seeming.

Louisa has been a favorite of mine for quite a while now. My favorite combination is Louisa Jane/Joan. I think Louisa sounds best with classic middles.
Louisa is lovely. I like Louisa Caroline the most, followed closely by Louisa Margaret and Louisa Catherine. Classic.
Louisa Caroline is really, really nice. I've stayed away from Caroline in the past because that's a name I've always perceived to be cold and aloof, almost snobbish even. But I think Louisa warms her up.
I find Louisa to be ok. It's neither boring/ugly nor spectacularly beautiful, just one of those names you come across and don't give it a second thought.
From your list I like Louisa Katherine (classic) and Louisa Ruby (a bit more modern/fresh).
Suggestions:
Louisa Everild
Louisa Antoinette
Louisa Penelope
Louisa Evermae
Louisa Jessamine
Louisa Mabry
Louisa Madeline
Louisa Maeveline
Louisa Margot
Louisa Romilly
Louisa Vivienne
Louisa Genevieve
Louisa Mairwen

I'd actually thought about Louisa Marguerite before, but wondered if it was too long. I like Louisa Margot, though!
I also like Louisa Romilly and Louisa Madeline / Louisa Madeleine.

Those more botanical combos I never would've thought of! I like Louisa Juniper and Louisa Briony (I don't like the double-Y in Bryony, even though I know that's the name of the plant).
I also like Louisa Gabrielle, Louisa Noelle, Louisa Meredith, Louisa Julianna, Louisa Dominique, Louisa Marielle, Louisa Robin, and Louisa Juliet.

I’ve been liking the Briony spelling lately, as the double y looks odd.
