I vaguely remember it from "The Virgin Suicides" and that it was very out of place with the names of the other sisters.
It doesn't sound like a name at all. More like a brand name, like some faux fur material. I believe it was or maybe still is a laundry detergent too.
Also, I'm against any names you can't play the "Banana fana-fo-fanna" game with.
